【QBA 2022 | Disciplined Services Quarters for Fire Services Dept at Pak Shing Kok 】
Themed with “Smart | Sustainable | Superior”, the ceremony of the “Quality Building Award (QBA) 2022” has been taken place at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong tonight. Jointly organized by nine professional organizations in Hong Kong, QBA aims to promote a collective commitment by the building industry as well as to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and competitiveness. Ms. Clarice Yu, Director of Buildings, has been invited as the chairperson of the jury panel. To kick-off the ceremony, Cr Tang Chi Wang, OC Chairman of the Award, has given the welcome speech and Ms. Bernadette Linn, Secretary for Development, has also delivered her speech as the Guest of Honour this evening. Conrad, our Vice Chairman, Rosana, Executive Director, Richard, General Manager, together with Emil and Sammi, Project Directors, have attended the event to support our project team members.
With the outstanding performance of the project team, the Disciplined Services Quarters for the Fire Services Department at Pak Shing Kok won another recognition tonight - Grand Award of Hong Kong Residential (Multiple Buildings). Our clients and partners including the URA, the Housing Society and the HKCSS, have also been awarded, especially the URA who is a champion with the most awards. Our subsidiary GVDC is proud to be a 5D BIM consultant in one of the URA’s award winning projects namely Central Market.
Our Group is dedicated to carrying out the research and development of MiC, obtaining patents and exploring the feasibility to widely adopt in different types of buildings. Together with BEANiE, Hong Kong’s first blockchain multifunctional platform, and construction digitalisation, it will definitely improve project productivity, safety and quality, and ultimately to speed up housing supply in Hong Kong.
